The R+W STF Safety Coupling is a heavy-duty industrial torque limiter designed for precise overload protection in high-torque applications. Upon an overload event, the coupling completely disengages the driveline within 1 to 3 milliseconds. It then automatically re-engages exactly 360 degrees later once the torque drops and the driving and driven sides achieve synchronized angularity. Employs multiple spring-loaded, ball-detent plungers evenly spaced around its circumference.
