The ST10 R+W Coupling (specifically the ST Series Torqset® Safety Element) is a modular, heavy-duty mechanical torque limiter designed for heavy industrial drive systems. Rather than a full standalone flexible coupling, this specific designation represents an individual, self-contained safety element. Multiple ST units are typically installed symmetrically around the circumference of a custom flange or large R+W industrial coupling to provide precise, high-capacity overload protection. A hardened steel seat that is permanently embedded into one side of the driving or driven flange component. A self-contained, spring-loaded core housed within a robust cylinder block. The plunger tip extends under spring pressure into the detent receptacle to lock the mechanism for power transmission.
