The HK series is a manual clamping element, specifically engineered for static holding on profile rail guides like the Rollon. It is a "bi-stable" unit, meaning it remains in its current state (clamped or unclamped) until manually changed by the operator. It utilizes floating clamping jaws that press synchronously against the free surfaces of the rail. This symmetrical application of force prevents the rail from being pushed to one side, maintaining system alignment. This element is engineered strictly for static clamping. It must not be used for dynamic braking (stopping a moving load), as this will cause significant wear and potential damage to both the element and the linear rail.
