NMB - MBYT22V | Spherical Plain Bearing | 22 × 44 × 35.50 mm

Details

NMB MBYT22V is a spherical plain bearing with inner diameter 22 mm, outer diameter 44 mm and width 35.50 mm. Additional specifications include bore type CYLINDRICAL and lubrication STANDARD.

The MBYT...V bearing is a premium, aerospace-grade, spherical self-lubricating plain bearings manufactured by NMB. Features a precise V-shaped indentation cut entirely around the circumference of the outer race surface. When pressed into a chamfered housing, a specialized mechanical staking/swaging tool is used to physically fold the outer metal lip of the race into the housing chamfers. This cold-form staking locks the bearing in place permanently without snap rings, common in aerospace control linkages and racing car suspension clevises. A specialized Teflon-fabric liner is permanently bonded to the inner surface of the outer race. This eliminates the need for periodic grease maintenance, lowers the coefficient of friction, and prevents metal-on-metal seizure under load. Materal : Constructed from a through-hardened SUS440C stainless steel ball rotating against an SUS410 stainless steel outer race. Features are : High Misalignment Accommodation, Controlled Breakaway Torque, Internal Radial Clearance Limits, Extreme Temperature Threshold, Fretting and Vibration Isolation. Applications : Textile & Packaging Machinery, Pneumatic & Hydraulic Cylinder Stems, Agricultural Equipment Controls, Medical & Laboratory Equipment, Energy & Power Generation. V=Groove Machined Into The Outer Race Flange.
