Details

SQ77 - a special Outer Ring coating to isolate and protect bearings against electrical erosion. This series bearings are single-row deep groove ball bearings featuring a machined brass cage (M) and an insulated outer ring (SQ77) designed to protect against electrical currents. These bearings are specially developed for electric motor and generator applications, where stray currents can cause premature bearing damage. The SQ77 insulation coating provides high resistance to current passage while maintaining the bearing’s mechanical performance and dimensional stability. The C3 radial clearance allows for smooth running at higher speeds and temperatures.
