These bearing is a Model 500 series special application steel-bushed spline coupling hub specifically designed for Beaver Motor Home coolant pump systems. It features a reinforced 15-tooth spline with a clamp-style locking mechanism to correct spline tooth failures and fretting caused by heavy cyclic loads and fit variations. Material : The hub is made from heat-treated magnesium alloy, making it 76% lighter than cast iron and 36% lighter than aluminum while remaining stronger than both. This reduced weight significantly lowers the load on bearings, shafts, and pumps, leading to a longer overall component life.
