These bearing is a high-performance 90-durometer Urethane (Yellow) flexible coupling insert specifically engineered for the Model 400 Series drive couplings. It is a critical component of the Magnaloy jaw-type coupling system, designed to provide high load capacity while maintaining electrical insulation by preventing metal-to-metal contact between hubs. When paired with standard Model 400 hubs, the total assembly is 76% lighter than cast iron and 36% lighter than aluminum. This reduced weight lowers the load on bearings and pump shafts.
