These bearing is a Series 100 Flexible Drive Coupling Hub specifically designed with a 9-tooth spline bore for connecting electric motors to hydraulic pumps or gearboxes. It is manufactured in Alpena, Michigan, using a high-strength magnesium-titanium alloy, making it significantly lighter and more durable than traditional cast iron or aluminum alternatives. It is 76% lighter than cast iron and 36% lighter than aluminum, which reduces parasitic loads on bearings and shafts, thereby extending the life of connected equipment.
