BEARING INSERT NO= VS-324. The VTWS is a high-performance, medium-duty wide-slot side-mount take-up ball bearing unit. It is engineered for industrial material handling systems-particularly belt conveyor tensioning-where precise shaft adjustment is required. The wide slots machined into the sides of the cast iron housing allow it to slide smoothly along the frame. This lets maintenance teams adjust center-to-center distances manually to keep proper tension on conveyor belts or chains. Material : Cast iron housing with a gray powder-coat epoxy finish and a 52100 bearing steel featuring a black-oxide coated inner ring and a protective single-lip rubber contact seal paired with a rugged steel flinger. Features are : Anti-Rotation Rivet, Dynamic Self-Alignment, Setscrew Locking, Extended Inner Race, Factory Pre-Lubricated, Dynamic Load Distribution Geometry, Non-Expansion Bearing (Fixed), Maximum Speed Limit, Operating Temperature Range.
