Details

BEARING INSERT NO= VE-124. The VTWE is an intermediate-duty, wide-slot take-up mounted ball bearing featuring an eccentric locking collar. It is utilizes a wide inner ring insert bearing engineered to handle radial loads while allowing linear adjustment along machine frames. The eccentric collar uses an offset cam design machined into the bearing's inner ring extension. When the collar is mated to the shaft and rotated in the direction of system movement, it wedges securely onto the shaft. A single setscrew locks the collar in place, providing gripping power without distorting the inner ball path. Material : Durable cast iron housing, high-carbon 52100 bearing steel, and a single-lip elastomer contact seal paired with a black-oxide steel external flinger.
