BEARING INSERT NO= VE-120S. The VPLE is a light-duty, two-bolt cast iron pillow block ball bearing unit manufactured by Browning. It is designed with a low-base housing configuration and utilizes an eccentric collar locking mechanism to secure the inner ring to a rotating shaft. Low-base configuration. This minimizes the centerline height from the mounting surface, making it ideal for tight vertical clearance spaces. The bearing outer ring has a spherical outside diameter that matches a curved housing bore. This allows the internal bearing to pivot and automatically correct for minor shaft misalignment during installation. Material : Cast iron housing coated in powder-coat epoxy, holding an internal bearing assembly made of high-grade 52100 chrome steel.
