BEARING INSERT NO= VS-120. The Browning VPLS is a light-duty, low-base, two-bolt pillow block ball bearing unit designed for mechanical power transmission. It features a cast iron housing, and a setscrew locking mechanism to secure the rotating shaft. The "Low Base" design means the height from the bottom of the casting to the centerline of the shaft is shorter than a standard "High Base" unit (like the VPS series). This provides a more compact profile for tight machinery compartments. Material : Rugged cast iron housing containing precision 52100 chrome steel bearing with paired housing coated with grey powder-coat epoxy to resist corrosion. Features are : Compact Footprint, Space Saving, Anti-Rotation Rivet, Fixed Non-Expansion Design, Spherical Self-Alignment, Maximum Limiting Speed, Replacement Bearing Insert, Operating Temperature Limits, Wide Inner Ring, Integrated Lubrication System, Single-Lip Contact Seals, Noise and Vibration Isolation.
