BEARING INSERT NO= VE-122. The Browning VPE is an intermediate-duty, two-bolt pillow block mounted ball bearing unit featuring an eccentric locking collar. It consists of a durable cast-iron housing pre-assembled with a high-grade, self-aligning ball bearing insert. The collar grips the shaft securely by tightening in the direction of shaft rotation, preventing slippage under high vibration. The outer ring of the bearing insert has a spherical surface that matches the housing bore. This compensates for minor shaft misalignment during installation. Material : A rugged malleable iron housing coated in powder-coat epoxy, enclosing a high-precision insert made of durable 52100 chrome steel bearing insert.
