BEARING INSERT NO= VB-222. The VPB is a standard-duty, two-bolt base mounted pillow block ball bearing unit manufactured by Browning. It is specifically engineered to support a rotating shaft in high-demand industrial power transmission. Utilizes a specialized wrap-around clamp collar design. It forces near-perfect concentricity between the shaft and the inner bearing bore, maintaining absolute ball-path roundness while drastically eliminating fretting corrosion. Combines a molded nitrile rubber single-lip seal with an auxiliary black-oxide treated steel flinger element. The flinger acts as a kinetic shield, throwing debris away from the seal face via centrifugal force. Material : Rugged powder-coated cast iron housing containing a precision 52100 high-carbon chrome steel bearing insert.
