BEARING INSERT NO= VB-232S. The VF4B is a standard-duty, four-bolt flange ball bearing unit manufactured by Browning. It features a durable cast iron housing, a BOA concentric locking collar for near-perfect shaft concentricity, and a single-lip contact seal with a flinger for optimal contamination protection. The outer profile of the bearing insert is ground with a precise crown radius. It fits into a matching spherical seat inside the cast iron frame, enabling the bearing to self-align up to ±1.5 degrees to accommodate slight framework or shaft deflections. Material : Constructed with a high-grade gray cast iron coated in a powder-coat epoxy housing enclosing a premium 52100 high-carbon chromium steel bearing insert treated with a corrosion-resistant black oxide finish.
