BEARING INSERT NO= VS-116. The VF3S is a three-bolt flanged ball bearing unit. It utilizes a durable malleable/ductile iron housing with a protective finish and a setscrew locking mechanism on a zone-hardened inner ring. Optimized shaft security. Two diamond-faceted setscrews are spaced at 120° angles to form a tight, reliable three-point contact lock. Dual-zone heat treatment. The ball path is induction-hardened for wear resistance, while the extended collar remains soft for maximum setscrew bite. Material : It features a high-strength malleable/ductile iron housing paired with a durable rubber single-lip contact seal and an auxiliary black-oxide steel flinger.
