BEARING INSERT NO= VS-116. The VF2S is a intermediate-duty two-bolt flanged ball bearing unit designed for reliable shaft support in compact industrial and mechanical applications. Manufactured under the Browning, it combines high-strength metallurgy with a specialized compact frame configuration. The inner ring of the insert undergoes a localized zone-hardening heat treatment. The metal directly beneath the set screws remains ductile while the ball tracks are hardened. This configuration combined with diamond-faceted set screws spaced at a balanced 120-degree interval. Material : Cast iron housing with a gray powder-coat epoxy finish and a 52100 bearing steel featuring a black-oxide coated inner ring and a protective single-lip rubber contact seal paired with a rugged steel flinger.
