Details

The SSE series belongs to UNIBAL’s Standard series standard spherical plain bearing. The bearing features a Uniflon E sliding surface, based on a PTFE composite fabric, that is self-lubricating. No additional greasing or maintenance is required. In fact, adding lubricant will impair the self-lubricating effect and reduce the bearing\'s life. They are two-piece plain bearings (inner ring + outer ring), without rolling elements. The inner ring has a convex outer surface, the outer ring has a concave inner surface. That design gives capability for angular misalignment. The series is designed for “high stress, maintenance free applications” under general mechanics. Features are : Self-lubricating sliding surface, Reduced wear and friction, Improper lubrication, Corrosion resistance, High load capacity, Shock and vibration resistance.
