The SSUTWNO is a Super Smart Ball Bushing linear bearing twin pillow block manufactured by Thomson Industries. It features an open, adjustable design engineered for continuous supported shafting in industrial automation and motion control systems. Compared to conventional steel linear bearings, this patented technology provides six times the load capacity or 216 times the L10 travel life. The internal bearing plates rock 0.5 degrees and roll about the outer ring. This optimizes load distribution across the ball tracks, eliminates the need for derating factors, and counteracts minor system misalignments. Employs a double open bushing arrangement housed inside an elongated aluminum block to offer rigid support and stable linear tracking along supported shafts. Material : Constructed with an extruded aluminum alloy housing block that contains hardened steel bearing plates and balls riding within a wear-resistant engineered polymer retainer.
