The SSUPBO is a high-performance, open-style Super Smart Ball Bushing linear pillow block bearing manufactured by Thomson Linear. Engineered specifically for use with continuously supported Class L RoundRail linear shafts. Features 2x the dynamic load rating or 8x the total travel longevity when compared directly to standard Thomson Super Ball Bushing elements, and a staggering 216x the L10 travel life of traditional non-aligning steel bushings. Built-in steel bands allow the internal bearing plates to rock uniformly up to 0.5 degrees in all directions. This compensates for slight housing misalignment, base deflection, or shaft bending, ensuring smooth motion without binding. Material : Constructed from a lightweight, anodized aluminum alloy housing containing internal plates and recirculating balls made of precision-hardened chrome bearing steel.
