The SUNTES TY...A-L is a precision ball-clutch style, manual-return type torque releaser (or torque limiter) manufactured by Sanyo Shoji. It functions as a mechanical safety device designed to instantly decouple the drive train and protect industrial machinery whenever a dangerous overload occurs. Uses precision steel balls seated in detents. Under normal operation, it transmits rotation smoothly. The moment a torque overload exceeds the preset threshold, the balls pop out, instantly releasing the load and protecting your motor or gears from damage.
