Details

The SUNTES TX..D-L is a highly precise, Japanese-manufactured mechanical torque releaser (torque limiter) that utilizes a ball-clutch and continuous reset mechanism to protect machinery from overloads. It instantaneously releases the drive train when the preset torque limit is exceeded. This series resumes power distribution as soon as rotation speeds slow or the obstruction clears. Steel balls are held in the flange by spring pressure. Under normal conditions, they sit in the hub's ball pockets to transmit torque. When torque exceeds the limit, the balls push against the springs and roll out of the pockets, instantly decoupling the drive.
