The SUNTES TE is a heavy-duty industrial torque releaser manufactured by SUNTES (a brand under Sanyo Shoji Co., Ltd. in Japan). It operates as an overload safety device featuring a ball clutch / release-type cartridge mechanism designed to protect automated machinery from sudden rotational stress. When the machine encounters resistance exceeding the pre-set torque limit, the internal balls force their way out of the recesses. This triggers a free-rotation retention mechanism that completely detaches the driving force, allowing the assembly to spin freely without friction. Features are : Bi-directional Protection, Contamination Resistance, Isolation of Mechanical Shock, Tamper-Resistant Calibrations, Axial Footprint Space Savings, Zero Residual Heat, Adjustable Limit.
