This bearing belongs to the SKF TX series, which is engineered for maximum service life in demanding industrial environments. Its primary advantage is the steel/PTFE fabric sliding contact surface combination, which allows for a low coefficient of friction and eliminates the need for periodic relubrication. Material : Both the inner and outer rings are made of hardened and ground bearing steel. The outer ring is fractured at one point to allow for the insertion of the inner ring.
