Radial spherical plain bearings are designed to accommodate radial and combined radial and axial loads, and also misalignment. The bearing consists of an inner ring with a convex sphered outside diameter and an outer ring with a matching concave inside surface. This geometry allows the bearing to tilt and rotate, accommodating substantial shaft-to-housing misalignment. Unlike "maintenance-free" variants, this model features an integrated relubrication facility (holes and grooves). Regular maintenance is necessary to ensure the sliding surfaces remain protected under heavy loads. Material : Both the inner and outer rings are manufactured from high-grade bearing steel.
