These bearing is an industrial-grade, precision-manufactured single-row cylindrical roller bearing optimized for heavy radial loads and extreme rotational velocities. The NU design utilizes an outer ring constrained by two rigid, integral flanges and a completely flat, flangeless inner ring. This permits the inner ring to slide smoothly across the rollers in both axial directions. It is strictly used as a non-locating (free-end) bearing to balance unavoidable shaft elongation caused by extreme thermal build-up.
