It is an INSOCOAT deep groove ball bearing featuring an electrically insulating coating on the outer ring. This design is meant to prevent electric currents from damaging the bearing and degrading its lubricant. The INSOCOAT ceramic coating on the outer ring protects against damage from stray electric currents that can occur in electric motors and generators.
