SKF AHE-5509A is a sensor bearing with inner diameter 6 mm, outer diameter 32 mm, width 19 mm and length 525 mm. Additional specifications include bore type cylindrical, seal yes and cage steel.
The SKF Steering Encoder Unit contains two independent sensor channels, electrically separated and can be used in steer-by-wire system up to performance level Pl = d (ISO 13849). The non-contact sensors produce two incremental signal pairs to precisely monitor steering direction and speed. The maintenance free unit provide a constant torque for the steering feeling and is a plug and play solution which reliably fulfils the demands of industrial and off-highway steer-by-wire.
