Details

This coupling is a high-performance elastic shaft coupling used to transmit torque and compensate for misalignment between shafts. The CS signifies a specific assembly type featuring a retaining ring with locking set screws, which makes it suitable for vertical installations. The coupling consists of two identical hubs, a precision-cast polyurethane insert, and a metal retaining ring. This simple design requires no bolts or nuts for assembly. Material : Typically cast iron (GG-25), but available in ductile iron (GGG-40) or steel for higher peripheral speeds.
