The R+W ZAL is a high-performance line shaft coupling featuring a lightweight carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) intermediate tube and dual split-clamping hubs. This zero-backlash component is specifically engineered by R+W Coupling Technology to bridge large distances between shaft ends without requiring intermediate support bearings. Material : High-strength stainless steel bellows, aluminum hubs (up to series 60), and a lightweight CFRP tube.
