The MKS is a high-performance miniature metal bellows coupling from R+W. It is specifically engineered for high-speed, highly dynamic applications where zero backlash and torsional stiffness are critical. The MKS series (Miniature Metal Bellows with Conical Clamping Ring) uses a self-centering conical clamping connection to ensure a secure, force-fit attachment to the shaft even at extreme rotational speeds. The coupling consists of two aluminium hubs connected by a flexible stainless steel bellows. Each hub features a conical clamping ring secured by three or four screws. Material: Bellows made from highly flexible, high grade stainless steel; hubs and conical clamping rings made from high strength aluminum.
