TORQUE LIMITER WITH KEYWAY MOUNTING AND ELASTOMER COUPLING, ESL SERIES, TYPE A TO ELASTOMER INSERT, SIZE 5, RATED TORQUE 9 NM, TORQUE SETTING RANGE 1 TO 6 NM, OVERALL LENGTH 34 MM ,PLEASE SPECIFY D1 AND D2 (BORE DIAMETERS, RANGING FROM 6 TO 15 MM AND 6 TO 10 MM RESPECTIVELY). The ESL is a specific model of a zero-backlash, economic torque limiting safety coupling manufactured by R+W Kupplungen. It combines a mechanical overload safety clutch with a vibration-damping elastomer insert. Operates on a spring-loaded ball detent principle. It mechanically disconnects the driving and driven components within less than 5 milliseconds during an overload event. The disengagement torque on the ESL series is permanently factory-set and tamper-proof.
