ELASTOMER COUPLING, EKZ SERIES, INTERMEDIATE SPACER, SIZE 300, 84NM RATED TORQUE, 62MM LENGTH, BORE DIAMETER IS 45MM. The R+W EKZ is a high-precision, zero-backlash intermediate spacer elastomer jaw coupling engineered by R+W Coupling Technology. It features a specialized concentrically machined spacer body designed to handle exceptionally large lateral misalignments while providing superior vibration damping. Represents a dual-element, curved-jaw intermediate spacer design. It incorporates two separate elastomer insert spiders located on opposite sides of a solid middle aluminum spacer. This design creates a double-cardanic mechanism that compensates for massive parallel shaft offsets that single-insert jaw couplings cannot tolerate. Denotes a 80 Shore A durometer polyurethane insert. This is the softest insert available in the R+W material matrix. Material : High-strength aluminum hubs and spacer; TPU elastomer inserts.
