The EKL is a compact, elastomer shaft coupling manufactured by R+W. It is designed for applications requiring high precision and vibration damping in a space-saving "compact" format. An elastomer coupling with a compact design featuring two concentrically machined aluminum hubs and one elastomer insert. Elastomer Insert (Type B) refers to the Shore 64D (green) elastomer insert, which is a rigid/hard grade of TPU designed for high torsional stiffness and backlash-free performance.
