Features two concentrically machined, fully split hubs with curved jaws. This allows for lateral mounting and removal without needing to move the connected machinery. The "C" designation typically refers to the elastomer insert hardness. In the R+W system, type C inserts are generally the hardest (often Shore 64 D), offering the highest torsional stiffness and torque capacity while still providing vibration damping.
