ELASTOMER COUPLING, EK7 SERIES, WITH EXPANDING SHAFT, SIZE 5, 12NM RATED TORQUE, 22.3MM LENGTH, PLEASE SPECIFY D1 AND D2 (BORE DIAMETERS, RANGING FROM 4MM TO 12.7MM AND 10MM TO 16MM. The EK7 is a high-precision, backlash-free elastomer coupling designed by R+W Coupling Technology specifically for hollow shaft mounting. It utilizes an expanding shaft system on one side and a clamping hub on the other to facilitate secure axial installation in tight spaces. Features two concentrically machined hubs with curved jaws. One side is a side clamping screw hub, and the other is an expanding shaft with an inner cone. The "B" designation indicates a green Shore 64 Sh D elastomer insert. This polyurethane material provides high torsional stiffness and vibration damping. Material : The hubs are made of high-strength aluminum, while the expanding shaft and internal cone are constructed from steel.
