The EK7 is a specific model of R+W Precision Elastomer Coupling from the EK7 series, designed for hollow shaft mounting with zero-backlash performance. It features a compact, space-saving design that utilizes an expanding shaft system to connect to the inner diameter of a hollow component. The Elastomer Insert type, indicating a Shore 64D hardness (often Green in colour), which provides high torsional stiffness. Uses an expanding shaft system with an internal cone that secures the coupling from the inside of a hollow shaft. Material : High-strength Aluminum hubs; Steel expanding shaft.
