The EK2 is a specific model of flexible elastomer shaft coupling manufactured by R+W. It is part of their EK2 series designed for precision power transmission with vibration damping and easy mounting. Insert Type (C) denotes the hardness of the elastomer insert, typically Shore 64D for the "C" variant (Green insert), providing high torsional stiffness.
