Threaded collars provide axial holding power superior to smooth bore collars, while offering easier installation and adjustment than solid ring locking devices. Ruland double taps threads to ensure a precise and burr-free finish allowing for easy installation and removal, proper fit, and extended shaft life. The clamp style design will not mar the shaft. It is commonly used for guiding, spacing, stopping, mounting, and component alignment. It is manufactured from solid bar stock sourced from select North American mills and machined to a fine burr free finish. Single point faced, Acme and Left-hand threads available, Additional sizes available. Steel - Black Oxide (F) Cold drawn bar. Hot process black oxide, impregnated with napthenic oil, centrifugal dried.
