Details

These bearing refers to a specific set of resilient elastomeric elements (rubber plugs) used as the critical transmission components for the RU-STEEL TA series elastic coupling. While often colloquially called "bearings" or "couplings" themselves, the TA is technically the replaceable internal element set that allows the coupling to transmit torque while dampening vibration. These blocks are inserted between the gear rings of a coupling to transmit torque through compression while absorbing shocks. Material : Hubs are manufactured from G250 cast iron (UNI ISO 185) or C45 UNI EN ISO 10083 steel. Typically manufactured from oil-resistant rubber (AFM), which is resistant to chemicals and harsh industrial conditions.
