THREAD=M48 x 5.00. The SCH RHP is a heavy-duty, self-aligning cast iron hanger bearing unit manufactured by RHP. Utilizes two precision grub screws (set screws) on the inner ring extension. They bite directly into the shaft to lock the bearing tightly in place and prevent slippage. This self-lubricating unit is heavily utilized in industrial transmission equipment and conveyor machinery. The internal bearing insert features a spherical outer diameter that matches a curved internal housing seat. This allows the bearing to swivel up to a few degrees to automatically correct shaft misalignment without placing stress on the balls.
