It belongs to the specialised Life-Lube / Silver-Lube family, engineered exclusively for applications that demand extreme cleanliness, complete resistance to water/chemical washdowns, and zero maintenance. The housing bore is machined with a precise spherical shape matching the bearing's outer ring. This allows the insert to pivot and self-align, compensating for initial shaft flexing or installation misalignments.
