It allows for multi-directional movement of heavy items while protecting the conveyor system from damage through its recession mechanism. These units are mounted under preload on internal springs. Under high loads or sudden impacts, the entire ball unit recedes into its housing to prevent damage to the load or the conveyor frame. Material : The cover and housing are galvanized for corrosion resistance, while the internal rolling elements are made of AISI 52100 (100Cr6) bearing steel.
