The Permaglide Bushing is a maintenance-free, metal-polymer composite thrust washer manufactured by Permaglide. It is specifically engineered to absorb heavy axial loads in dry-running or hydrodynamically lubricated industrial assemblies where space is confined and external lubrication is restricted. The material is a maintenance-free, anti-magnetic material consisting of a solid bronze backing layered with a sintered bronze matrix and a self-lubricating PTFE sliding surface.
