SQ77 - a special Outer Ring coating to isolate and protect bearings against electrical erosion. This series bearings are single-row deep groove ball bearings engineered for electric motor and industrial drive systems that require both electrical insulation and higher internal clearance for thermal or high-speed operating conditions. These bearings feature a machined brass cage (M) for high mechanical stability and durability, a C4 radial clearance for greater internal play (ideal for higher operating temperatures), and an SQ77 insulation coating on the outer ring, providing effective protection against stray electrical currents. The SQ77 ceramic coating is plasma-sprayed onto the outer ring, offering electrical resistance typically up to 1000 volts, preventing current-induced bearing damage and increasing service life in inverter-driven or variable frequency drive (VFD) applications.
