THREAD=M5. The SI...E1 bearing is a metric-sized, female-threaded rod end bearing. Features a female-threaded shank that simplifies installation by allowing it to be screwed directly onto threaded rods or bolts. Material : Inner ring made of hardened Gcr15 Bearing Steel (Chrome Steel), heat-treated to HRC 58–64, precision ground, and polished. The housing constructed from carbon steel and typically zinc-plated or chromate-treated for corrosion resistance. This bearing consists of an eye-shaped head with an integral female-threaded shank. This "Heim joint" design is purpose-built to take up angular misalignment between connected parts in control rods and steering links.
