The NSSB bearing is an inch-series radial spherical plain bearing designed for heavy loads and slow-speed oscillating or tilting motions. It is a maintenance-free component specifically engineered to accommodate alignment movements between a shaft and its housing. Features two mating spherical sliding surfaces: an inner ring with a sphered convex outside and an outer ring with a sphered concave inside. Material : The rings are typically manufactured from quality stainless steel (often 400 series martensitic for the insert and 300 series for housings in mounted units) to ensure maximum corrosion resistance.
