THREAD=M22X1.5. The COS bearing is a specific model of maintenance-free, metric male-threaded rod end bearing designed for precision mechanical linkages. It is characterized by its self-lubricating properties and three-piece construction, making it ideal for applications requiring non-linear movement and compensation for alignment errors. Material : The Inner ring made of GCr15 bearing steel, heat-treated to HRC 58-64, precision ground, and polished with a chromium-plated spherical surface. The housing constructed from carbon steel with a zinc-plated finish and chromate treatment for enhanced corrosion resistance. The outer race is made of brass with a PTFE composite bonded to its inner diameter, ensuring the self-lubricating liner stays securely in place under load.
