The UCWT bearings is a standard-duty, metric take-up bearing unit. It is specifically designed for applications requiring adjustable shaft tensioning, such as belt conveyors and material handling systems, and is built to withstand initial static misalignment. Material : The bearing rings and balls are made of GCr15 (AISI 52100) high-carbon chrome steel for maximum wear resistance. The housing is typically cast from HT200 grey iron using an automatic vertical molding process to ensure structural consistency and high shock absorption. Standard units are finished with a dark green powder coating, and the grease zerk fittings are made of zinc-plated A3 steel to resist rust.
