The SSUP00 bearing unit is a miniature stainless steel pillow block from "Silver Series", known for its compact design, corrosion resistance, and suitability for hygienic, washdown environments. It is features an eccentric locking collar. Material : The pillow block housing (SP001) is made of high-quality 304 austenitic stainless steel. The inner and outer rings, as well as the balls, are made from 420/440 martensitic stainless steel. This material can be heat-treated to achieve a high hardness, which is crucial for bearing performance, fatigue life, and wear resistance, a characteristic not possible with 304 stainless steel.
